April 11, 2013 in Leather
Just got a new motherboard installed into my computer so I’m finally able to get back to making videos!
Today I’m showing how to make a great gag for all sorts of play. I did this project with very little planning but it turned out quite well and the result works excellently!
- 1/4″ neoprene hard rubber (Amazon Link)
- Rivets (Amazon Link)
- Locking buckle (Amazon Link)
- InstaMorph Plastic (Amazon Link)
- Mouth Guard (Amazon Link)
- (Optional) Ink for dying the plastic
- Sharp knife
- Rivet setter/anvil
- (Optional) Leather edge beveler
- Source of hot water
Rather than write out all the steps here, the best solution to make your own project would be to watch the video. I’m sorry it’s long, but I made very few edits in the video so you can see the entire process start to finish and make your own project rather than just duplicate the one I have made here. I made a couple procedural errors but this will give you a great idea about what hard rubber can do for you, your gear bag and your dungeon.
Show me your projects and I’m always here if you have questions or ideas! Drop me a line though these comments or on my twitter @thatdrewlion.
